Jaipur, February 11. The finals of the Rajmata Gayatri Devi Memorial Cup were played at Rajasthan Polo Club on Sunday. In this exciting match, Team Jaipur won the cup by defeating Team Delta/Jindal with the score of 7-6. Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth AVSM, GOC-in-C, South Western Command, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. He presented the trophy to the winning team. The title of Most Valuable Player went to Salim Azmi from Team Jaipur. On this occasion Maharaj Vijit Singh and Rajkumar Ajai Singh were also present.
For the winning team Jaipur, Lance Watson scored 4 goals, HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur scored 2 goals and Salim Azmi scored 1 goal. Devendra Singh was also included in the team. On the other hand from Team Delta/Jindal, Santiago Marambio and Siddhant Sharma scored 3 goals each. Other players in the team included Akshai Malik and Anirudh Singh Sinsinwar.
