Jaipur, 25 January: The Jayshree Periwal International School organised the annual Sports Meet on 25 January, 2024. Dr. Jayshree Periwal, the dynamic Director of the Jayshree Periwal Group of Schools, with her vivacious and zestful presence, honoured the occasion. The Academic Directors, Mr Ayush Periwal and Mrs. Aakriti Periwal also bestowed the event with their lively presence.
Dr Periwal, in her motivational speech, stressed on the need to elevate one’s personality by participating enthusiastically in sports. She further emphasised on the need to strive for excellence in all fields- whether sports or academics. She also drew attention to the significance of sports in our lives and spoke on how sports teaches us vital lessons of life, sharpens our focus and inspires us to single-mindedly follow our goals.
The meet began with the Guard of Honour followed by flag hoisting and Lighting of the Torch. After the meet was formally declared open, the athletic and track field events began with cheer and enthusiasm. The unparalleled enthusiasm of the athletes created a wave of excitement among the students and the spectators. The event concluded with prize distribution. The parents applauded the school's efforts to instill sporting spirit in students and in creating dynamic individuals who would make their own mark in the world.
