Jaipur, 1 December: The 10th Convocation Ceremony of Manipal University, Jaipur (MUJ) will take place tomorrow (2 December). The Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Kalraj Mishra will be the Chief Guest on the occasion. As many as 2166 students will be awarded degrees during this ceremony. This was informed by the President, MUJ, Dr. GK Prabhu during a press conference today in Jaipur.
Dr. Prabhu further informed that the academic toppers of each department will be presented with gold medals. In all, this year there are 58 gold medalists this year.
Registrar, MUJ, Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar said that out of the 2166 students who are graduating, 1770 are of the Undergraduate category and 396 are of the Postgraduate and PhD categories. Furthermore, around 10 students who have excelled in various international and national platforms and brought fame not just to the University but also to the country with their achievements will also be felicitated.
The achievements of the University such as NAAC A + accreditation, Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking 2023 (World), among others were also highlighted.
