Thiruvananthapuram, October 24, 2023: Hyatt Regency Trivandrum celebrated International Chefs Day by conducting a special programme called ‘World of Care’ at Mahila Mandiram, an orphanage home for women at Poojapura. The culinary team of the hotel prepared delicacies for around 60 inmates at Mahila Mandiram and interacted with them conducting several activities.
Volunteers and 15 chefs including Chef Ganesh, Pastry Chef, Chef Karthik, Executive Sous Chef, Chef Pankaj Dhondiyal, Chef De Cuisine, led by Chef Senthil, Executive Chef, arrived at Mahila Mandiram in the evening with hot snacks and beverages for the inmates. Chef Ganesh conducted a cupcake frosting class for them. This was followed by a special cake-cutting ceremony. The day’s dinner was also prepared by the chefs which included dishes like egg biriyani, vegetarian noodles, gulab jamun, and so much more.
About the event, Chef Senthil, Executive Chef, Hyatt Regency Trivandrum, said, "International Chefs Day is a day of great significance for our industry, and it gives us immense pleasure to care for others so that they become their best. We hope that this event encourages more people to be there for those who need us and spread love through food."
