Gehlot government should resign taking moral responsibility
Jaipur, 25 December: MP Diya Kumari put the Congress government in the dock in the paper leak case and said that after confirming the paper leak incident, the entire examination is under question. In such a situation, the government should accept its mistake and recommend the State Public Service Commission to cancel the entire examination and conduct it afresh. After the paper leak, RPSC hastily announced the new date of the General Knowledge exam as January 29 and has kept the rest of the exams unchanged.
State General Secretary and MP Diya Kumari commenting on the state government said that now there is a discrepancy in the system. With the hasty manner in which the new date has been announced, it seems that the people responsible want to wash their hands off this paper leak. Expressing doubt on the entire development, the MP said that if the accused have accepted to pay ten lakh rupees in the police investigation, then it is clear that no one will deal only for one paper but for all the papers of the entire examination. In such a situation, declaring a new date without completing the investigation and keeping the rest of the examinations as it is, is an injustice to the nearly three lakh candidates who are preparing for the examination honestly.
