·Indian Paracycling team wins 3 medals in individual pursuit on the second day
Hyderabad, June 20, 2022: Para cyclist Jyoti Gaderiya (C2 Category) bagged her second Gold medal in the C1 to C5 Women’s Category 3 kms individual pursuit with a timing of 5:24.990 seconds, on the second day of the 10th Para Track Asian Cycling Championship, being held in IGI Stadium at New Delhi. She clinched her first gold medal yesterday in the C1 to C5 500 mts., Women’s Category.
Arshad Shaik (C2 Category) bagged Bronze in Men’s 4 kms with a timing 6:29.221 secs, in individual pursuits.
Para-cyclists Jyoti Gaderia (2 Golds), Arshad Shaik (Silver & Bronze) and Basavaraj Horaddi (Bronze); trained at Aditya Mehta Foundation, won five out of the six medals bagged by the Indian Para Cycling team, till now. Indian Para Cycling team and Aditya Mehta Foundation are thankful to Cycling Federation of India, Sports Authority of India and Mudhra Trust for the support extended to the team.
