Jaipur, 27 May: Ahead of the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM), scheduled to be held from July 22-24 in Jaipur, a promotional roadshow is being organized in Mandawa on Saturday,28 May. The event will be organized at Castle Mandawa at 5.30 pm and is being jointly organized by Rajasthan Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and Federation of Hospitality and Tourism in Rajasthan (FHTR). This was informed by President, FHTR, Mr. Apurv Kumar.
He further informed that In addition to Department of Tourism and FHTR, the event will also witness the presence of stakeholders of various tourism and hospitality organizations of the state such as Hotels and Restaurants Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA), and Rajasthan Association of Tour Operations (RATO).
During the roadshow, there will be presentations and short film screenings highlighting the diverse facets of tourism of Rajasthan of the state. The initiatives taken by Rajasthan Tourism such as the recently launched Rajasthan Film Tourism Promotion Policy, 2022, Guest House scheme, Revised Homestay (PG) scheme, Rajasthan Rural Tourism Investment Scheme, Revised Heritage Guidelines will also be highlighted.
It is to be recalled that the first roadshow of RDTM was held on 12 May at Clarks Amer in Jaipur. Other roadshows will be held in cities across the state like Udaipur, Jodhpur and Bharatpur .
It is to be recalled that RDTM will provide a platform to all the hoteliers, travel agents/tour operators of Rajasthan to showcase their products to travel agents from all across India and facilitate structured B2B meetings. The first RDTM has been a major success inspiring the department to plan its second edition. A MoU was thus signed on April 6, 2022 between the State Government's department and FHTR for organizing the 'Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart’.
