The Literary Festival for IT employees- Srishti-2021; Results announced

Kochi: April 19, 2022: The results of the 8th edition of Srishti- 2021 in a quest to find the best writers among IT employees in Kerala announced. The award declaration ceremony was inaugurated by Kerala’s acclaimed author and Odakuzhal award winner, Sarah Joseph. President of Prathidhwani Technopark, Raneesh Ramachandran and prominent writer and calligraphy artist, Dona Mayura felicitated the event.

“The art, culture and social service programs conducted by Prathidhwani for the IT employees are indeed commendable”, said Sara Joseph during the occasion.  The event was presided by Prathidhwani Executive Member Magi Y V,  Subin K ,Joint Convener, Srishti 2021 gave the welcome speech and Vipin Raj, General Convener, Srishti 2021 delivered the vote of thanks. Anju David, Joint Convener of Srishti 2021 announced the winners.

More than 200 entries under the categories of story, poem and essay were submitted for the contest. For the English poem category Aiswarya Chandrasekharan (Allianz,Trivandrum), Devisree Anoop (Baker Hughes), Sujith Dan Mammen (UST Global) received first, second and third place respectively. For Malayalam poetry, Jyothish Kumar CS (RM Education) secured the first place, Shine Shoukkathali (EY, Infopark) and Annu George (TCS) seized the second and third place. In the Malayalam short story category, first place was awarded to Elsamma Tharyan (UST Global) followed by Nipun Varma (UST, Kochi) and Abhishek S (Akscia Technologies). Nipun Varma (UST Global, Kochi)  earned the first place for English short story, Bhasker Prasad (UST Global) and Gauri Jela (Allianz Technologies) received second and third spots. The first, second and third positions for Malayalam essay was awarded to Anaz Abdu Nazar (Envestnet), Ranjini (Finastra Technopark) and Rini A (UST). Arunima G S Krishnalatha (IBS), Sujith Dan Mammen (UST Global) and Divya Rose R (Oracle) accepted first, second and third place for English Essay.

The entries for English poems were evaluated by Dona Mayura, Malayalam poems by Kureepuzha Sreekumar, English stories by Ayisha Sasidharan, Malayalam stories by K. V. Manikandan and essays by Anupama Mohan. In addition, the Readers Choice Awards were also announced based on the number of votes.
