aipur, 1 April: Indian Institute of Crafts And Design (IICD) and Jaipur Virasat Foundation (JVF) signed an MoU to promote institutional cooperation and further common interest in crafts and heritage fields. The MoU was signed by Director IICD, Dr Toolika Gupta and Managing Trustee JVF, Dr Rima Hooja at the IICD campus in Jaipur.
On the occasion, Dr Rima Hooja said that this collaboration between IICD and JVF will be instrumental in driving development of crafts and heritage. As institutions that prioritise holistic development, we are hopeful that this institutional cooperation will result in refuelling inspiration, imagination and art.
The scope of collaboration under this MOU includes projects and workshops of mutual interest in crafts and heritage; knowledge exchange, cooperation in the development of crafts and heritage education, and pursuit of project opportunities and events for the betterment of artisans.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Mr Giriraj Singh Kushvaha (Retd. IAS), Secretary IICD; Mr Binil Mohan, Head-Linkages, IICD; Mr Rakshat Hooja, Head-JVF and Mr Bhom Thanvi.
