Jaipur, February 28: The new venue of JLF is all set to offer a unique experience to the visitors as the new host. Hotel Clarks Amer has a long standing history of being patrons of arts and culture in the Pink City. As the first and only retro-legacy hotel, Clarks brings a unique experience to its visitors with its Indo-European aesthetic, multi cuisine culinary options, vast open spaces and one-of-a-kind art installations.
It’s one of the largest hotel premises in the city and is a home to spectacular art installations created by artists across India to symbolise their appreciation of creative expression and respect of all forms of life. The wide expanse of greenery is adorned by unique sculptures of animals such as a 14 ft. tall owl, an equally large camel, a rhinoceros, birds and a pink coloured horse which is a statement feature of the property. The installations are made from scrap metal owing to Clarks' environment-friendly practices and their philosophy of sustainable development. The hotel compound boasts of acres of greenery with only 18% built-up area hence creating a green haven in the centre of metropolitan Jaipur. The installations are a part of their animal welfare initiative called Help in Suffering (HIS).
This year, as the new host of the Jaipur Literature Festival, Hotek Clarks Amer will bring an all-encompassing artistic experience to the JLF attendees.
In anticipation of the festival, Jaipur art veterans Faith Singh and Randhir Vikram Singh shared their perspectives of Hotel Clarks Amer. Faith Singh said that when I think of Clarks Amer, I think the first modern hotel in the city like no other. They offer a very personal experience while still maintaining all the professional standards of a contemporary luxury hotel. Clarks has always been a proactive part of the JLF through the years with their hospitality and their well designed vast spaces.
Randhir Vikram Singh said that there is a familiar feeling of warmth every time one visits Hotel Clarks Amer and it is great to see that there is always something new happening there. The hotel has truly evolved itself into a cultural hotel over the years. As hosts of JLF this year, they most certainly will deliver an unparalleled experience.
