DUBAI, UAE – 16 February 2022: Global F&B brands confirm a successful return of Gulfood 2022, the world’s largest annual F&B sourcing event running at the Dubai World Trade Centre until Thursday, 17 February. The 27th edition of the show has seen an incredible 2022 showing, with industry leading exhibitors praising the event's success.
Speaking from the show floor, Mohammed Hajj Ali, General Manager of Transmed, a full-service distributor and well-established international food service company, cites the importance of face-to-face networking; “We have been long awaiting this year’s Gulfood. It brings us closer to our customers and suppliers, and we are very excited to be back to live events.
We want to thank Gulfood and Dubai for giving us this opportunity to meet with people from all over the world. F&B is all about people and bringing everyone together around food. We always look forward to this event and have been participating for ten years now. We look forward to many more years to come.”
With a presence in 13 international markets, Hajj Ali goes on to highlight the newfound interest in fresh, healthy food options; “We are seeing a major shift from consumers towards fresh, good for you, healthy foods. Tolga Sezer, CEO of the multinational food company Solico Group, said; “Gulfood is the world’s biggest F&B showcase and the ultimate industry platform.
