Sony Entertainment Television’s talent reality recently announced the Top 14 contestants of India’s Got Talent. Climbing up the ladder, the show will now host the Grand Premiere episodes this weekend where the nation will see the Top 14 contestants surprise one and all with their talent! Making the grand premiere more special, judge Badshah will be seen setting the stage on fire with his rap game along with contestant Rishabh Chaturvedi.
Rishabh’s endearing performance touched the judge’s hearts so much that they couldn't hold back their excitement. He mesmerised the judges Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Badshah and Manoj Muntashir with his melodious voice by singing the late Shammi Kapoor’s famous song, ‘Badan Pe Sitare Lapete Huye’. Rishabh will be seen giving the original song a very modern touch with an interesting arrangement of music and his style of rendition. Rishabh’s majestic rendition impressed Badshah so much that he went on stage and rapped with Rishabh that he made especially for him. Judge Manoj Muntashir went on to say, “Shammi Kapoor and Mohmad Rafi dono aapme sama gaye the.”
When Badshah probed Rishabh about his motive for coming on the show he revealed that his parents are professional singers and that he has learnt singing from them. He also adds that his parents struggled a lot to be where they are today. Both his parents make sure to go out of their way to support him in his career and he wishes to make them proud by winning the trophy of India’s Got Talent.
Talking about his performance with Badshah, Rishabh says, “Rafi Sir has inspired many singers with his unique performances and style. I am extremely thankful to Badshah Sir to come on stage a rap with me. It’s really nice of Badshah Sir and I feel fortunate to get a chance to perform with him on national television."
