Mumbai: A new video tribute to MSMEs has gone viral in thousands of WhatsApp groups of entrepreneurs, startup founders and small business owners, and has racked up 20,000 views on YouTube in just five days. Its downloaded version is being shared widely in WhatsApp groups.
The three-minute video celebrates the MSME founders, owners and entrepreneurs as individuals truly driving the Indian economy forward, employing millions of people and contributing significantly to the nation’s collective dream of building an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
The video has been conceptualised and produced by MSMEx, India’s leading platform that delivers education and growth advisory for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. Coming in the midst of India’s third covid wave, the video exalts the resilience of MSME owners despite all the hardships that they face in pursuit of reaching their goals.
“MSMEs have seen the toughest of times since the pandemic and yet their will to keep pushing forward while risking their lives shows the true spirit of entrepreneurship. From adapting to technology, changing everything about their business models, the SMEs of the country have contributed significantly to the country but unfortunately, this is not noticed and acknowledged and the unsung heroes of MSME do not get the desired respect and recognition, and this is what we have tried to show in this video,” Amit Kumar, CEO and Co-founder of MSMEx said.
He added, “We all know India is capable of achieving great heights, it is these business owners who are the building blocks to a greater economy. They are the true unsung heroes”.
