Jaipur: The Virtual Edition of the 5th Rajasthan Skills Summit will be held tomorrow (12 January) from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm on the virtual platform. It is being organized by FICCI Rajasthan State Council. The objective of the summit will be to deliberate the future skills in India and learn the perspective of various stakeholders with best practices. This was informed by Head, FICCI Rajasthan State Council, Mr Atul Sharma today.
Mr Sharma further said that the Covid-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented disruption to education, threatening to affect an entire generation of future workers. Restrictions have also encouraged innovative approaches and solutions that could guide the road to a more inclusive recovery. It is indeed necessary to look at the learning of the past year and shed light on the skills set needed to build a resilient future. To achieve this objective, it would be pertinent to learn that how L&D can work as a collaborator with internal talent mobility; which future skills that the workforce will need in 2025; how organisations, academia and the Government should join forces reskilling revolution.
During the inaugural session, the keynote address will be delivered by Managing Director Rajasthan Skill & Livelihoods Development Corporation, Ms Nalini Kathotia. The inaugural session will be followed by two plenary sessions on the topics – Futuristic Skills for Resilient India and Best of Skilling Practices.
