Hyderabad: FICCI Young FLO HYDERABAD Chapter, Chairperson Deepthi Reddy and YPO Gold South Asia Regional Chapter organized an Interactive Walk-through of two contemporary artists Biplab Sarkar and Ishrath Humairah art exhibitions at Kalakriti Art Gallery, Hyderabad on 9 December 2021.
On the occasion YFLO HYDERABAD Chapter, Chairperson Deepthi Reddy said “Art is a media for empowerment. Art is a profession filled with passion with lots of scope in the coming years. As our great nation celebrating 75 years of independence Young FLO, Hyderabad is curating a 20 Feet iconic structure, which denotes empowerment of women and 75 years of independence. The structure will be unveiled in February 2022.”
Ishrath Humairah said “Art & living is inter connected. Every painting and art is a conversation between two. We buy the ballons but we never see the ballonwala. Tradition is not the worship of ashes but the preservation of fire.”
Rekha Lahoti, Past Chairperson, FLO Hyderabad were present at the event.
The exhibition also showcased featuring works by Amit Lodh, Balaji Ponna,Biplab Sarkar, Claire Lone, Dhruti Mahajan, Ishrath Humairah, Karishma Wadhwa, Kiyomi Talaulicar, Laxmipriya Panigrahi, Muktinath Mondal, Raghav Vijay and Raka Panda.
Biplab Sarkar, the 2018 winner of the Glenfiddich Emerging Artist of the Year award. Sarkar graduate from Santiniketan, Kolkata. Sarkar loved painting ever since he was a kid. By the time he reached Class 10, he was sure that he wanted to study art. Sarkar is confident about his work and is looking forward to sharpen his skills further.
Ishrath Humairah is a self-taught painter from India, who primarily paints abstracts. Deep textured landscapes, rocks, trees and nature are her signature elements. Having explored different painting media, Ishrath is partial towards oil paints. Most of her landscapes have deep texture in oil media. She paints the traditional way, working layer upon layer that makes her paintings express themselves in varied hues. She is continually experimenting with colors, textures and media as can be seen in her progression of paintings. Ishrath has been painting all her life, but recently has started to exhibit and sell her art creations.
