Jaipur: Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) and 'Jaipur Book Lovers' organized a meet-up at JKK Library on the topic, 'Books which have challenged/expanded/changed your perspective' on Sunday. The book lovers from Jaipur shared their views on the topic. The event was coordinated by senior bureaucrat Ajay Aswal, Vivek Sharma, and Prashant Gupta. There were 25 people between the age group of 14 to 60 years who participated in the session. The participants included school children, bureaucrats, and new writers who enthusiastically took part in the program.
In this interactive session, participants discussed and expressed their views on books by national and international authors such as ‘Sapiens’ by Yuval Noah Harari, 'The Jean' by Siddhartha Mukherjee, 'The FountainHead' by Ayn Rand among many others. The participants shared their experiences about how they started reading books along with the challenges they faced during this period. Moreover, they shed light upon how books helped them develop positive changes in their lives, and how they changed their outlook towards life itself.
