Jaipur: Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) will organize a 'Kathak' presentation directed by an eminent Kathak artiste, Ms Manjiri Kiran Mahajani on Sunday, November 14, under the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. The program will be held in Rangayan at JKK at 6.30 pm. Entry to the program will be free for the spectators. Ms Manjiri Mahajani's dance style is a rare blend, reflecting the poise, elegance, and grace of Lucknow style and strength and vigor of Jaipur.
Ms Manjiri Kiran Mahajani is a nationally acclaimed and internationally recognized Kathak artiste, choreographer, and teacher. She has been pursuing Kathak for the past 30 years. She is an artiste with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), a body of the Government of India. She trains and educates aspiring youth to pursue their passion for the 'Kathak' dance form. She has also performed extensively in other countries like the USA, Switzerland, Italy, UAE, etc.
