Sony SAB’s energetic and romance-driven show, Ziddi Dil – Manne Na, has managed to keep the audience hooked to the show with its appealing and youthful storyline. Viewers are set to witness a crucial turn in the upcoming episodes as Sid Ganju (Kunal Karan Kapoor), a beloved character from the story plot will be seen battling for his life in jail.
With a rich, spoilt, and easy-going attitude towards life, Sid Ganju is known to escape the clutches of duty or any task which requires hard work. On reaching the academy, Sid begins creating a ruckus and refuses to leave the academy unless he fulfils the job he had arrived for. On the other hand, Special Agent Karan Shergil (Shaalien Malhotra) is reluctant on accepting Sid’s behaviour in the academy and decides to punish him by putting him in jail. While Dr Monami (Kaveri Priyam) cannot stand to see her best friend in jail, she requests Special Agent Karan Shergil to release him. Karan wants Sid to apologise but Ziddi Sid refuses to do so. As the days pass by, Sid tries to stay strong inside the jail without any food and water, however, he falls unconscious and has to be admitted in the hospital.

Kunal Karan Kapoor, essaying the role of Sid Ganju said, “This week is an arching point for Sid Ganju in the show and for me it has been a different experience altogether, be it the emotions, the storyline and the people around as I have shot a couple of sequences before in a jail set up. I was amazed as Sid Ganju will go through such a crucial turn in his life so early on in the show but at the same time, I was very happy and thrilled to take on a challenge. The entire sequence was shot well which brought about the right amount of emotion required. The intriguing part of the entire situation is everyone’s reaction and what entails next.”
Kaveri Priyam, essaying the role of Dr Monami said, “The entire journey to this new life for Sid and Monami has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. A lot is happening in Monami’s life now, with her current focus on surviving at the academy. With her best friend’s life being put at stake, Monami is in a tough spot. It will be interesting to watch how she will fight for her friend. Further, only the episodes can answer all your questions. At the same time, I am eagerly looking forward to our viewers’ responses.
