FOOD FOR THE SOUL! NEW MENU AT THE NOODLE HOUSE INTRODUCES DISHES FROM TEN ASIAN CULINARY CAPITALS

Dubai, UAE: The Noodle House, which continues to be Dubai’s most popular go-to restaurant for Asian soul food, is expanding its menu to add more than 35 new dishes from across Asian culinary capitals, with an extended selection of plant-based dishes and table-side experiences.

Now available across all Dubai venues, guests can delve into an entirely revamped menu at the homegrown concept operated by Jumeirah Restaurants, the Dubai-based full-service hospitality provider, inspired by Asia’s most popular taste hotspots and created in line with the wider brand promise of serving diverse Southeast Asian dishes.

“The Noodle House’s new menu items have been added following months of extensive research from our culinary team with the support of the operations teams, which has seen us working directly with our suppliers and gathering industry experts and customers for a series of tasting panels,” said Antonio Iacovelli, Head Chef at The Noodle House.

“The new menu has truly been a labour of love which has incorporated feedback from experts and our loyal guests who have in one instance ordered as many as 115 times!”, added Steven Holloway, Brand and Operations Manager at Jumeirah Restaurants.

Signature dishes have been added from a total of 10 Southeast Asian regions including Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia, ensuring no cuisine is left unexplored.

Popular Favourites Take Prime Spot

Many of The Noodle House’s classics such as Black Pepper Beef, Singapore Noodles, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Curry Laksa, Green Curry, Shrimp Blaster will keep their place on the revamped menu and are also available on the dedicated home delivery website www.thenoodlehouse.com

Customers can also duck into one of The Noodle House’s signature dishes, The Golden Pipa Duck, which is a sophisticated Cantonese dish that resembles the Chinese balloon guitar, the Pei Pa. Served with an elevated presentation and available as either a whole duck or a half duck, both portions are served with steamed pancakes, cucumber, leek, and sweet hoisin sauce.

New to Noodle House

The menu comprises of new street food options, baos, salads and soups, noodles, a completely new Yakitori section, and several desserts.

Street food additions include the likes of Chicken Xiao Long Bao and Kinilaw Na Tanigue, while special additions include Korean Fried Chicken and Potato & Octopus Takoyaki.

A completely new Yakitori category has been added, which consists of charcoal-grilled skewers that are a popular street food throughout Japan – with choices of seven dishes including Kawa (crispy chicken skin), Malay Chicken Satay, Yakiniku (wagyu hanging steak), and Nasu Dengaku (Miso glazed eggplant). 

On to the Bao section, two new options – Fried Tofu Bao and Shrimps Blaster Bao – have been added to the menu to join the Duck Char Siu Bao.

The Salads and Soups category includes additions of the Asian Kale Salad and Korean Japchae, with most ingredients locally sourced – from farm to table. In addition to the popular Curry Laksa, four new soup options have been added with inspiration from different regions and include Vietnamese Pho Bo, Tom Yum Goon, Spicy Tsukemen, and Tokyo Shoyu Ramen.

The popular Chinese Dan Dan Noodles has been added after raving reviews during the tasting sessions. Additionally, The Noodle House has recruited a dedicated Noodle Master – Chef Thet Ko Ko Tun – who joins the team with a wealth of experience and will bring an extra level of theatre to the restaurant with handcrafted noodles. He will also lead the team to make dumplings, and wontons from scratch, including the popular Chicken Xiao Long Bao which is set to be a bestseller, and Prawns Siew Mai.

The Banchan section (Korean word for sides), includes a range of additions mainly inspired by Korea, including the Garlic & Ginger Kangkong, Baek Kimchi, Tongbaechu Kimchi, and Sunomomo & Wakame.

Brand New, Trending Asian Desserts

Six new desserts have been added to the menu to end the dining experience on a sweet note and can be enjoyed through home delivery as well. These include the Thai-inspired Mango Sticky Rice made of black sticky rice, mango compote, and topped with coconut sauce; Miso Chocolate Mousse with popping candy, sesame cracker and cocoa nibs; Taiwanese Castella Cake; Exotic Asian Fruit Salad; Banana Turon with fried plantain in a crispy pastry, topped with dulce de leche sauce; and Sago Pudding with coconut cream, mango and muscovado sugar jelly.

Vegan and Vegetarian Options

To cater to all audiences and continue its commitment to sustainability, The Noodle House has expanded its vegan and vegetarian choices with the introduction of 16 new vegan dishes, with ingredients locally sourced where possible. A hit during tasting panel sessions, the new dishes also support local farmers and further reduces the restaurant’s carbon footprint.

The standout vegan options include Sticky Edamame, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Asia Kale Salad, Korean Japchae, Tom Yum Goon (hot & sour soup), and Fried Tofu Bao. Mains comprise the Green Curry, Nasu Dengaku (miso glaze eggplant with sesame seed) and King Oyster Mushroom (scallion, korean perrilla oil, shichimi togarushi). The majority of the new traditional dessert additions that are vegan include the Chef’s special Miso Chocolate Mousse, Thai-inspired Mango Sticky Rice, and Sago Pudding. Other popular vegetarian options include the popular Chinese Dan Dan Noodles and Vegetable wontons.

Your Soul in a Bowl

Guests who fancy themselves as a noodle connoisseur can design their own bespoke bowl of steaming deliciousness, with a choice of7 types of noodles along with different stocks, sauces, protein and vegetables, with a number of variations to choose from. The best bit? Ingredients can be fused from dishes inspired by cuisines from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and even as far as Japan. Dishes can be tailored to suit all taste buds, enhancing the authentic Asian spirit and experience.

Kids Menu

The Noodle House has launched three new bento boxes specially curated for kids, just in time for the summer holidays. Options include the Tempura Bento Box with vegetable spring roll, crispy shrimps, jasmine rice, and pineapple cubes; the Chicken Katsu Bento Box with Malay chicken satay, chicken katsu, jasmine rice and sliced banana; and the Noodle House Bento Box with vegetable wonton, Singapore noodle, vegetable spring roll, and chewy chocolate cookies.

The Noodle House’s new menu is now available at all operating venues in Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Nakheel Mall, and JBR The Walk. It will also be available for home delivery by the new fleet of electric bikes the brand has introduced as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability.
