Jaipur, 21 January Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari participated in the Ram Bhajan competition organised by the Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation at the Jawahar Kala Kendra and enjoyed the bhajans of Shri Ram sung by the contestants. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister said that it is so peaceful to listen to the Lord's hymns. It felt like the Lord Shri Ram was somewhere around us. It was a unique and pleasant experience, she said. Students from various educational institutions and colleges of Jaipur participated enthusiastically in the programme. Trophies and certificates were also distributed to the winners of the programme. Mayor of Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation, Dr. Somya Gurjar was also present on the occasion.
It is noteworthy that 'Ramotsav' is being organised by Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation in connection with the Pran Pratistha programme of Ramlala, which will be organised in Ayodhya on 22 January. Under this 'Ramotsav', various programmes related to Ramlala are being held by the corporation.
