Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 09: Smt Mani Viswanath today assumed charge as the Administrative Committee Convener of Thiruvananthapuram Regional Co-operative Milk Producers Union (TRCMPU), after Shri N Bhasurangan stepped down from the post.
Smt Mani Viswanath is currently Health and Education Standing Committee Chairperson of Muthukulam Block Panchayat.
A former government servant, she had worked in Agriculture and Panchayat Departments for 18 years. She had also served as vice president of Alappuzha District Panchayat, state committee member of the Kerala Mahila Sangham and state committee member of KSSPA. She is also a state committee member of the Senior Citizens Forum. She also served as State Vice President of the Joint Council and its Women’s wing President.
