"RAISING VOICES & SUPPORT, NOT LABELS: THE PALACE SCHOOL'S #WALK4DYSLEXIA AWARENESS MARCH"

Jaipur, 31 October: The Palace School, in an extraordinary show of support, recently spearheaded the '#Walk4Dyslexia' awareness march from the Sarvatobhadra to The Palace School, marking the conclusion of World Dyslexia Awareness Month. This impactful march aimed to dispel common misconceptions about dyslexia and spotlight it as a distinct learning style rather than a disease or physical condition.

Ms Rama Datt, the Executive Trustee of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum Trust and member of board of governors of The Palace School, flagged off the walk. She emphasized the remarkable achievements of numerous world leaders, writers, actors, inventors, and entrepreneurs who have overcome dyslexia, proving that it is not a hindrance but an opportunity for unique talents to shine.

This second edition of the awareness march in Jaipur received enthusiastic support from various partners, including Pick a Book and Simply Jaipur, as well as organizations like Rotary Club Jaipur, ilearn_ishine, and The Jeypore School. Ms Urvashi Warman, Principal of The Palace School, revealed that this initiative is part of a national campaign spanning 21 cities in India, with The Palace School leading the charge in Jaipur.

Prior to the walk, The Palace School's special education cell, Magic Pie, conducted brain gym exercises to energize participants. Mr Akshay Goyal, President of Pick A Book Jaipur, addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of dyslexia awareness. A heartfelt testimonial from Ms Chhavi Likhyani, a parent at The Palace School, underscored the school's exceptional support and care for children with learning disabilities.

To keep the ambience engaging, an interactive quiz tested participants' knowledge and promoted dyslexia awareness. The quiz left a lasting impression on the audience, highlighting the importance of understanding and supporting children with dyslexia.

The walk drew active participation from The Palace School's parents, students, and staff members, reinforcing the power of unity and empathy in making a positive impact in the lives of children with dyslexia
