Jaipur, 28 October: More than 550 people from India and abroad, forming more than 100 teams, discovered about a dozen problems based on the themes of Healthcare, Fintech, Web3, Cyber Security, Open Innovation at Manipal University, Jaipur.
In this two-day hackathon that lasted for 36 hours, organised under the aegis of School of Computer Science and Engineering, E-Cell and Atal Incubation Centre, the participants found interesting and innovation-based solutions to about a dozen problems occuring in social life. School Director, Prof. Sandeep Chaurasia said that the winning teams were given cash and pool prizes worth more than two lakhs.
The Chief Guest of the closing ceremony, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. GK Prabhu inspired the youth to always take problems as challenges, find solutions to them and make those solutions useful in the interest of society.
Dean of Engineering, Prof. Arun Shanbagh informed the participants that such events provide an opportunity to connect with industry experts and skill consultants to improve ideas and are also a golden opportunity to meet potential investors and develop ideas into startup.
Dr. Santosh Vishwakarma gave detailed information to all the guests about the project and the enthusiasm of the participants of this competition, that was organisped for 36 hours continuously.
At the end of the program, Head of the Department, Dr. Neha Chaudhary expressed her gratitude to everyone.
