Jaipur, 26 October: Manipal University Jaipur has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence and innovation by successfully hosting the 4th International Conference on “Smart System: Innovation in Computing-2023 (SSIC-2023)”.
The event, from 26th October 2023 to 27th October 2023 at Manipal University Jaipur, which was inaugurated by Sh. Darshan K. Patel, Group Director, CSIG/CITA, Space Applications Centre (SAC-ISRO) and The Guest of Honor was Sh. Jai Gopal Singla, Scientist F, ISRO who brought together leading minds in computing and innovation, making it a resounding success.
The conference, themed “Smart System: Innovation in Computing (SSIC-2023)”, captured the rapidly evolving landscape of computing and its profound impact on modern society.
Attendees, including distinguished researchers, scholars, industry professionals, and visionaries from around the world, convened to explore, share, and celebrate groundbreaking ideas and discoveries. The event featured Prof. Arun Somani Iowa State University, USA. Prof Sudip Misra Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, Prof Priyadarsi Nanda, University of Technology Sydney, Australia, Prof Roy D. Magnuson, Illinois University, USA, each a luminary in their respective areas, delivering thought-provoking talks on the future of computing. The conference showcased a diverse range of presentations, panel discussions, and workshops, providing an in-depth look at the latest advancements and trends in computing.
The conference lived up to its promise of fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across various domains, including computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and more. The event provided an international platform for networking, collaboration, and the formation of invaluable global connections among experts, scholars, and industry professionals such as Dr. Pallav Kumar Deb from Siemens Technology and Services Pvt. Ltd.
The conference was organized under the guidance of Director of School of Information Technology, Dr Sumit Srivastava and Head, Dr Pankaj Vyas. Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Ankit Mundra, who was the faculty convener of the conference along with Dr Vivek Kumar Verma and Mr. Rohit Kumar Gupta.
