Thiruvananthapuram, October 20, 2023: KIMSHEALTH Cancer Centre has announced a campaign for school students aimed at creating awareness about cancer prevention among the public. The registration to the campaign, named "FACT - Fight Against Cancer Together," has officially begun.
A grand prize of Rs 1 lakh will be awarded to the team with the best idea related to cancer prevention and early diagnosis. The second prize is Rs 50,000, and the third prize is Rs 25,000. Students from class VIII to XII, representing private, aided, and government schools, are eligible to participate. The campaign will run from October 20 to November 20. The organizers stated that KIMSHEALTH has initiated this campaign to educate more people about the importance of early detection in response to the increasing number of cancer patients.
