Jaipur, 11 August. India's leading B2B Travel & Tourism Showcase and Conclave - India Travel Mart (ITM), Jaipur kicked off at Rajasthan International Center (RIC) today. The 3-decade mart began with a session on MICE and Weddings, wherein industry professionals shared their thoughts and ideas on their respective fields. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman and Managing Director, ICM Group, Mr Ajay Gupta, informed that this year, ITM is based on the theme "Mice and Wedding B2B Expo, Conclave and Awards".
Mr Gupta further said that during the Mart, State Tourism Boards of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Himachal as well as hoteliers, resorts, travel agents, tour operators etc. are displaying their tourism products. The timing of the exhibition is from 11 am to 6 pm. During this, B2B networking will also take place with the State Tourism Board, Hotels and Resorts. Additionally, the conclave will also feature networking with industry professionals from across India.
The objective of ITM Jaipur is to promote tourism through promotional and publicity activities, exchange market information, encourage partnerships between public and private sectors and reduce travel barriers.
