Jaipur, 14 July: The third edition of the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) began today with the Amber experience for the delegates. The domestic tour operators, travel agents and visiting delegates from across the country had the opportunity to experience the guided tour of Amber Fort and also see the mesmerizing sound and light show there. The RDTM is being organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR). Present on the occasion were President, FHTR, Mr. Apurv Kumar; Senior Vice President, FHTR, and President, Hotel Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chandela; Deputy Director Tourism, Mr. Upendra Singh; Vice President, FHTR, Mr. Khalid Khan; President, Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO), Mr. Mahendra Singh Rathore and General Secretary, FHTR, Mr. Mohan Singh.
Inauguration of RDTM on 15 July
Rajasthan Tourism Minister, Vishvendra Singh will inaugurate the Mart at 10 am on 15 July at Rajasthan International Centre. The Guests of Honour on the occasion will be Chairman, RTDC, Mr. Dharmendra Singh Rathore and Chairman, Raj Small Industries Corporation, Mr. Rajiv Arora. On 15 and 16 July there will be pre-structured meetings and exhibition at Rajasthan International Centre (RIC). Over 7000 B2B structured meeting will be held between buyers and sellers. More than 200 domestic tour operators pan-India from across the country will network with more than 200 exhibitors from Rajasthan who will showcase the prowess and potential of their 600 tourism products like hotels, motels, eateries, heritage properties etc.
