Jaipur, 1 July: The inauguration of Kamla Poddar Group's (KPG) International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) new design-centric educational campus took place on Saturday in Mansarovar, Jaipur. The inauguration of this new campus was done by Cabinet Minister, Women and Child Development, Child Rights and Planning Department Government of Rajasthan, Ms. Mamta Bhupesh Bairwa. During this event, Minister Mamta Bhupesh Bairwa expressed her best wishes for the bright future of the students and encouraged everyone to get involved in the women empowerment schemes of the State Government and contribute to the progress of Rajasthan.
Distinguished personalities from the design industry, education sector, and Government, including CEO, INIFD Global, Mr. Anil Khosla; Chancellor, Medhavi Skills University, Mr. Pravesh Dudani; Bollywood actor and celebrity host, Mr. Aman Yatan Verma; CMD, First India News, Mr. Jagdeesh Chandra; Chief Mentor (INIFD) and Star Celebrity Designer; Mr. Ashley Rebello and Celebrity astrologer and motivational speaker, Mr. Sandeep Kochar were present at the ceremony.
On this occasion, Chairperson, Kamla Poddar Group (KPG), Ms. Kamla Poddar said that International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD, Jaipur) is committed to marching ahead hand in hand with emerging trades in the design industry. In line with this commitment, KPG has launched the new campus of INIFD, which will be dedicated to providing excellent education and training in the fields of Fashion/Interior Design and Skills Development.
The launch event showcased the creative skills of INIFD students through their designs. These designs have also been showcased at prestigious fashion weeks in New York, London, and Lakme, highlighting INIFD’s innovative curriculum, state-of-the-art facilities, as well as the successful collaboration between INIFD and Medhavi Skills University. During the event, the Medhavi Skill and NSDC programs were also launched. Brief information about the university and programs was provided by Chancellor, Medhavi Skills University, Mr. Pravesh Dudani.
