MP DIYA KUMARI EXPRESSES GRATITUDE FOR APPROVAL OF JAKHAM DAM BASED PROJECT WORTH RS. 3693 CRORE
Jaipur, 1 June. Rajsamand MP, Diya Kumari expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for approving the Rs. 3,693 crore Jakham Dam-based project, which aims to benefit 297 villages in the Rajsamand district under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Speaking about the project, MP Diya Kumari expressed her joy and appreciation for the announcement of the Jakham Dam project worth Rs. 3,693 crore, initiated by PM Modi in Ajmer. This announcement has brought immense happiness to the people of Rajsamand district. The project will directly benefit the villages in the regions of Rajsamand, Kumbhalgarh, Amet, and Railmagra, and will completely eradicate the problem of drinking water scarcity.
MP Diya mentioned that currently, these regions are grappling with a severe drinking water problem, and the Modi government has taken a significant step towards addressing this issue. In addition to Rajsamand district, many other districts will also benefit from this project. Water connections will be established in 211,926 houses across 708 villages in Chittorgarh district, 375 villages in Udaipur, and 93 villages in Pratapgarh.
