Kolkata, 18th March, 2023: Weddings in India are considered eternally blissful, and the Fashion in Indian weddings are one no less than Fashion Week looks itself. Keeping the same thought in mind, Designer Vandana N Gupta (Womens apparel) & Pankaj Kumar (Men’s apparel) displayed their glorious Wedding and Summer Collection by organising a fashion show at Raajkutir, Kolkata today. The USP of this Show was that the models of the clothing wear were none other than the customers of the designer. The Fashion Show was followed by unveiling its exclusive Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi and Bridal collection by the designers Vandana Gupta Designer Couture and Sanskritii by Pankaj Kumar.
Renowned Bollywood Actress, Bhagyashree walked the ramp as the Showstopper. The Wedding and Summer Collection was designed by Vandana N Gupta, Vandana Gupta Designer Couture & Pankaj Kumar, Owner of Sanskritii. The show was curated by Saurav Haryanvi, Director of High Hopes; Jewellery Partner - SK house of Jewellery; Fabric partner - Chandrima Fashion; Grooming and Makeover partner VLCC.
Speaking to the media, Vandana N Gupta, Owner of Vandana Gupta Designer Couture said, "In India, weddings are a big affair. Today, people have a very refined taste for the wedding costumes, decoration, make-up and accessories they need and the trends are changing. Earlier, weddings were a time when people chose to go for traditional styles but now a lot of them are opting for indo-western designs. We hope this show will give fabulous style inputs and go-to looks that one can’t stop drooling over."
On this Occasion, Pankaj Kumar, Owner of Sanskritii said, “The Indian wedding fashion is leaving a mark globally with its increasing popularity in different parts of the world. There was a vibrant abundance of colours in today's show with silhouettes that have evolved which eventually presented a winning formula of glamour."
