Kolkata, 21st March, 2023: The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and EKTA Incubation Centre of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), WB is organizing an webinar cum workshop on "Workshop on Prototype / Process Design and Development" by Mr. Avelo Roy, Managing Director & Start-Up Mentor at Kolkata Ventures.

The Guest Speaker is Mr. Avelo Roy, Managing Director & Start-up Mentor at Kolkata Ventures. Kolkata Ventures is a platform where established entrepreneurs help budding entrepreneurs with mentorship, investment, carefully crafted startup courses, networking events and business plan competitions for our next generation of entrepreneurs to learn, lead and succeed.

Avelo Roy is a tech entrepreneur, investor, 4 times TEDx speaker & TV Host. He started his first company at the age of 19 around his patent-pending technology while still studying at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He built it to a million-dollar valuation by the age of 22. He thereafter established the Krishna House, Krishna Lunch and Krishna talk projects in Chicago for spreading the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita while continuing to build businesses in the US & India with multi-million dollars worth of products and services ranging from consumer electronics, artificial Intelligence systems, healthcare process automation, food science, wireless communications, wearable technology, and graphical password applications.

His mentorship through Kolkata Ventures in the past 3 years has resulted in 400+ revenue-generating startups, 2 exits & 10 crores in funds raised.

As the great-great-grandson of Sarojini Naidu, Avelo continues the legacy forward by tirelessly serving the Indian youth through entrepreneurship education using lean startup methodology and management education using the principles of the Bhagavad Gita. He is an influential youth icon with a monthly reach of 200,000 youths over social media.
