Hyderabad, 22 March 2023: The International Association of Lions Clubs - Lions District 320A, celebrated the season 4 of the prestigious Ratnadeep Grand Queens Leadership Awards 2023, brought to you by Celebration Makers, which felicitated seventy one most influential and promising women at a glittering ceremony to commemorate International Women’s Day, today, at Club Botanika, Gachibowli.
Some of the prominent awardees were Ikebana artist Rekha Reddy; Ajita Reddy Yogesh of Hamstech College of Creative Education; Fitness specialist Dinaz Vervatwala; Prof. Dr Kavita Daryani Rao, Vice Chancellor, JNAFAU; RJ Nonstop Niki; Transgender Nanditha Sekhar, Athlete Podila Kavya; Malika e ghazal Devi Ramana Murthy; Artist Anjani Reddy, Singer Amrita Nayak; Dr Chinmayee Sukhavasi, Women Health.
The Grand Queens Leadership Awards concept was conceived by the renowned Event Organization of India, "Celebration Makers" and is supported by Lions Club of Hyderabad Yuva. The Awards were started in Hyderabad in 2020 and has been travelling all India since then. The Kolkata and Bhubaneswar editions of the Grand Queens was hosted on 12th and 15th March, 2023, respectively. The Award will be expanding to various cities and countries in due course.
The Founder, Dr Saurabh Sureka had ideated the platform called "GrandQueens Club" which is a forum for all working women across various fields and age groups to come together to Network, Collaborate and Grow. Aptly supported by Lion Rupa Sureka, the co-founder, they have introduced various activities and initiatives like GrandQueens Confluence, GrandQueens Talent Walk & Grand Home Chef India, etc to increase collaborations among the GrandQueens.
Dr Saurabh Sureka says that Sports have become a mainstay for today's population and hence they had already conducted GrandQueens Cricket League in 2021 and have announced next season very soon in Hyderabad & Kolkata.
Also, in Association with Odisha FC, they have launched "GrandQueens Soccer League", the poster release of which was done by the Odisha State Sports Minister himself recently.
GrandQueens Club believes in collaboration and handholding for an inclusive growth and the recent spree of their past awardees on 94.3 Fever FM had taken the city by storm.
