Futurebots - the World of Robotics come alive at Gurugram’s Orchids The International School

Gurugram, March 15, 2023: Students of Orchids The International School, Sector 56, organized and presented their innovative robotic ideas during the ‘Futurebots - World of Robotics’ exhibition organized at the school premises today. The exhibition was inaugurated by ACP Dr Kavita - East Gurgaon, Women Police Cell and Mr. Raman Malik, Member & Spokesperson (Haryana), BJP.

 

Futurebots witnessed exemplary ideas and innovation of the students from kindergarten to ninth grade, who exhibited and shared with the guests and parents on the usage of their product and its significance in today’s world. It included a robot, an inventive traffic light, a battery-powered LED, automatic street lights, an LDR for controlling an LED, an automatic door lock, and a zigzag wire game, among many others. The guests were amazed to see the talent of the students.

 

The Robotics curriculum at Orchids The International School has been meticulously designed to allow young geniuses to explore the world of technology and robotics extensively. The prime focus is to keep the students updated with the most recent technological advancements rather than traditional and outdated teaching methods. The best part about Robotics in Orchids is that it helps students to create their own prototypes and exhibit them on public platforms.

 

Dr Kavita Nagpal, VP Academics - North, Orchids The International School said, “Today's era is the era of science and the internet. We witness new discoveries, multiverses, augmented reality and inventions almost every month. Orchids The International School has developed and is equipped with advanced technology. Being able to observe the current trend of children showing an increased interest in technical subjects like robotics fills one with great joy. This points to a bright future for the nation. Children's interest in science will grow thanks to the school's robotics exhibition program.”

 

 

Addressing the program, the principal of the Orchids The International School, Sector 56, Gurugram, Mrs. Vibha Gupta said, “Orchids The International School is one of the pioneers in initiating the 5 unique curriculum introduced by the Govt. of India through National Education Policy 2020. I am proud to announce that this event is one of the initiatives to promote the NEP curriculum, and I feel glad to say that my children have done a commendable job in showcasing their talent.
