Thiruvananthapuram, February 7, 2023: Prathidhwani, a collective of I.T. employees in Kerala has organized Srishti 2022, a literature festival for the techies. The winners of the festival and the award ceremony will be held on February 9th. S. Harish (Kerala Sahithya Akademi, Vayalar Award Winner), will be the chief guest at the programme that is being conducted at the Technopark Travancore hall from 5:30 pm.
In categories such as short stories, poem, and essays, more than 207 entries from around 200 IT employees reached the jury from various companies all over the state, in addition to the employees who participated from the major Kerala IT parks such as Technopark, Infopark, and Cyberpark. A panel comprising of poet and Kerala Sahithya Akademi member V.S. Bindu chose the winners.
The Prathidhwani Srishti Kala Sahithya Festival organized in the previous years was also received with great encouragement by the techies. Writers V. Madhusudanan Nair, Kuripuzha Sreekumar, and Prof. Chandramati in 2014, Subhash Chandran in 2015, Ezhacheri Ramachandran in 2016, Benyamin in 2017, Kuripuzha Sreekumar and K.R. Meera in 2018, Santhosh Echikanam in 2019, Sachidanandan in 2020, and Sara Joseph in 2021 awarded the winners with their prizes and certificates. Around 3000 pieces of works by the techies have been translated so far.
