Jaipur, 30 January: MP Diya Kumari celebrated her birthday today with children. Incidentally, today also happens to be the Palace School’s Foundation Day. On the occasion the school organised a ‘Bal Mela’ for the students of ‘Rajasthan Netraheen Kalyan Sangh’ and ‘Disha Foundation’. A rousing welcome was given to MP Diya Kumari, who was the Guest of Honour by the Principal, Ms Urvashi Warman, teachers, members of Interact Club and Council Members of the school. Also present on the occasion was Executive Trustee, Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum Trust and Board Member of The Palace School Educational Society, Ms. Rama Datt.
MP Diya Kumari interacted with the students from ‘Rajasthan Netraheen Kalyan Sangh’ and ‘Disha Foundation’. She inspired the students with her invigorating words of wisdom of living life joyfully and completely and to carry forward values in their lives. She also praised the efforts of students and teachers for their unique way of paying tribute to 'Azadi ka Amritmahotsav' by making a 53 feet long 'Phad' painting.
The students enjoyed the games and sumptuous snacks on the occasion.
Later, a large number of BJP workers and well-wishers also extended their birthday greetings to the MP. Earlier in the day, she took the blessings of Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple and Govind Dev ji Temple.
