Returning to Q’s Bar & Lounge for January 20th and 21st, the American musician prepares to blow the crowd away with soulful performances
Dubai, UAE – January 2023: Palazzo Versace Dubai’s star act, Rogelio Douglas Jr. returns to his sold-out nights at Q’s Bar & Lounge for one weekend, due to the immense popularity of his previous residencies at the award-winning venue. For two nights only on January 20th and 21st Q’s Bar & Lounge will host the popular American singer, actor and dancer, who promises to bring his soulful music and vibrant energy.
The triple threat performer will be bringing down the house with his energetic performances featuring his signature mix of Mo-Town, R&B and funky soul music with renditions of Otis Redding, John Legend, Pharrell Williams and more.
When not making live musical appearances or working on TV and Film, Rogelio can be found in the studio writing music. His music has been used for the The Discovery Network’s “Deadliest Catch”; featured on HBO’s “Silicon Valley” and played on Fox’s smash hit “Empire.” On the big screen, Rogelio can be seen in “Whiplash,” “Superfast!” and “Straight Outta Compton.” His television credits include NBC’s “Chicago P.D.,” “Orange is the New Black” and “Ray Donovan.”
An original Broadway cast member of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda musical IN THE HEIGHTS starred as “Benny” in the production’s first national tour, Rogelio first gained attention as a lead tap dancer in RIVERDANCE: THE SHOW on Broadway and in the film RIVERDANCE: LIVE FROM GENEVA.
