Jaipur, 16 January: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with the Department of Tourism and Art & Culture, Government of Rajasthan, and Young Indians & Indian Women Network Rajasthan is organizing its flagship and much-awaited event 'CII-NBC Jaipur by Night Marathon'. The event will be held on 28 January from 7 pm onwards at Jawahar Kala Kendra, from where the marathon will be flagged off. This was informed by Chairman, CII Rajasthan, Mr. Gaurav Rungta.
Mr. Rungta further informed that the Minister of Education, Art & Culture, Government of Rajasthan, Dr. BD Kalla will be the chief guest at the flag-off ceremony. While Principal Secretary, Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, Gayatri Rathore, and Director, Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, Rashmi Sharma will be present as the guests of honor. This will be the 5th edition of the 'Jaipur By Night Marathon.' There will be two categories of the marathon, with the first being a 10 km marathon timed run, while the second category will be a 5 km marathon for beginners. Registrations for the night marathon are open and more than 700 people have already registered so far.
Significantly, the event is getting good responses from many institutions including industrial organizations and the government. These include Dr. B Lal Laboratories Pvt Ltd, Shubashish Buildhomes Pvt Ltd, Man Structurals Pvt Ltd, Manu Yantralaya Pvt Ltd, National Engineering Industries Ltd, Gosil Exports, Poornima University, Rajasthan Hospitals RHL, Design2Occupancy, Axis Bank, Universal Fingrowth Pvt Ltd, Reliance Jio, Agrasen Engineering Industries Pvt Ltd, Frubon, etc.
