Calicut: Aster MIMS launches the first Centre of Excellence in Pediatric Cardiac Sciences in North Kerala providing a complete comprehensive care unit for all pediatric cardiac-related issues. The unit brings forth the expertise of experienced pediatric cardiologists, pediatric cardiac surgeons, pediatric cardiac anaesthetics, and cardiac intensivists under one umbrella.
Farhaan Yasin, Regional Director, Kerala Cluster and Tamilnadu, Aster DM Healthcare. inaugurated the centre featuring the most advanced technology with state-of-the-art units.
The centre offers leading-edge technology for diagnosing various paediatric heart conditions and provides support and special packages for pregnant women delivering babies with critical heart conditions.

Experts from various pediatric specialities evaluate babies and assure the best possible treatments for babies immediately after delivery. The centre has been providing surgeries for various surgeries like cardiac surgeries, interventional and keyhole surgeries.
