The Armando Rho’s skilled craftsmen are always looking for the most precious woods to create particular and precious effects for the manufacturing of prestigious furniture. There is no limit to find, for example, the Persian walnut burl in the blond variety, as long as it is free from imperfections. Once found, these lots are kept as a treasure: When the company mission is to serve a high-level clientele, there is no compromise with wood.
The Persian walnut burl is among Armando Rho's favorite woods. The Amboina burl is also precious and not easy to be found, as it is used also, for example, in the dashboards of Rolls Royce. The Tuia briar is used to make inlays, as well as the Vavona briar, which is also valuable. Citronnier is another beautiful type of wood characterized by golden shades. After an endless search, it was possible to find beautiful lots of this precious variety which, once polished, reveal beautiful golden shades coming from the sand contained in the wood.
Even in the solid woods, used for structural parts, Armando Rho's cabinetmakers constantly seek quality, using, for example, solid Ebony Makassar or Bois de Rose. An original discovery made by the company was the introduction of Amaranth solid wood.
