Jaipur, December: Faculty of science, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) organised a curriculum conclave on 20-21 December, 2022. It was inaugurated by Prof. S.K. Singh, Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The program began with a brief introduction by Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof. Lalita Ledwani. She gave an overview on how the National Education Policy (NEP) should be implemented to design a new curriculum of various programs of science discipline. The President of MUJ Prof. G. K. Prabhu emphasized upon incorporating the elements of competence building, relevance, flexibility and fun in the revised curriculum. The overall objective of education should be holistic development with inculcation of Indian ethos among the students. The Chief Guest Prof. Singh said that under NEP the options of multiple exit and entry are going to be extremely helpful for the students. The syllabi must incorporate contents of skill development, environmental aspects and research aptitude. Pro-president Prof. N.N. Sharma, Registrar Prof. Nitu Bhatnagar, convener Prof. Abhijeet Singh along with deans of other faculties and heads of the departments attended the program. The program was hosted by Dr. Pooja Sharma and the formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Devarshi Pallavi Bhatt.
