OVER 1600 STUDENTS LEARNT HISTORY TODAY FROM ‘PHAD’ AND ‘MUSICAL PERFORMANCES’

Jaipur, 16 December: The pedagogy behind this festival is closely related to 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' as the phads prepared by the students of Rajasthan school will be presented in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.

The final day of the 4 day festival began with a harmonious prayer sung by The Palace School. This was followed by Dharav High School's Kalbelia dance performance which was highly appreciated by the audience. Students of R.N. Podar School, Mumbai performed the 'Railgadi Song' which was related to their theme while presenting their phad on 'The Evolution of Commerce'. A powerful performance was put up by Birla Shiksha Kendra, Chittorgarh in a traditional way as a tribute to the 'Unsung Heroes of Chittorgarh'.

A new phad was put up in the festival by Mamta Modern School, Delhi on the theme 'Indigo Rebellion - History of the Color' and the students presented it with a song 'aaj sunani hai humme sabko, rang jamuni ki yeh kahani' which had been composed and sung by their students and teachers. Photos of the phad prepared by K. R. Mangalam World School, Delhi were presented during the day as the original phad on the 'New Education Policy 2020' has now been placed in the Office of Education Secretary, New Delhi.

After the repeat performance of The Palace School, Disha School Students stole the show and provided the audience with a perfect final for the 4 day festival. They performed on a medley of 6 songs which included "yeh mat kaho khuda se meri mushkil baadi hai, meri mushkilon se kehedo mera Khuda bada hai". Over 1600 students from 25 different schools were amazed by this outstanding performance.
