~The new launch marks 25 stores for the brand and a strong retail footprint since it’s inception in December 2021~

 

Mumbai: TASVA, the men’s Indianwear brand from Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited and India’s ace designer Tarun Tahiliani opens doors to a new store at Fort, the city’s popular commercial district and heritage area that is now a well known shopping hub. This launch celebrates TASVA’s 25th store across the country since its inception in December 2021, making it a special milestone moment for the brand.

 

Celebrating its journey from Benaras to Bombay, the store launch brought alive the ‘Great Indian Wedding’ experience in Tasva’s characteristic fresh take- `Naya Nazariya, for the guests! The evening saw the presence of numerous VIPs from the city as they raised a toast to the momentous occasion and welcomed TASVA’s unique rendition of a grand wedding procession with Tarun Tahiliani Chief Design Officer, Tasva and Sandeep Pal, CEO, TASVA

 

TASVA was conceptualized to fulfill a  need in the men’s Indianwear space which needed fresh thinking. Setting itself apart from the others with its ‘India Modern’ aesthics, the brand has brought beautifully constructed garments with the design sensibilities of Tarun Tahiliani. Connecting modern silhouettes with traditional craftsmanship techniques, diverse fabrics and textures, ABFRL & Tarun Tahiliani have been able to showcase that men’s Indianwear can have all the hallmarks of a designer piece and yet be accessible to all across the country, thereby revolutionizing the fast-growinng space for this category.

Within a year of TASVA’s inception, we have infused freshness into men’s Indianwear and changed the Indian male celebratory experience. Over a period of nearly an year since its launch at the ghats of Benaras, TASVA’s expanding retail footprint and a robust online platform speaks of its acceptance by the consumer.

 

TASVA’s 25th store at Fort, Mumbai, is spead across a sprawling 4,000sqft. Featuring a grand façade and elegant interiors, the store showcases a variety of kurtas, bundis, sherwanis, bandhgalas, achkans, churidars, aligarhis, and other garments, all expertly crafted with impeccable attention to detail and design, TASVA celebrates traditional crafts in a contemporary approach with fabrics ranging from silks to cotton to brocades & velvets. Accessories including safas, sarpeches, brooches, pocket squares, buttons, sehras, stoles, shawls and footwear make for great finishing touches to any outfit. Beautifully embellished with Ikat prints, Benarasi motifs and Chikankari, the collection explores pastel colours from mint green, ivory, salmon pink, softer tones of yellow, to deep blues, jewelled tones and tropical hues.

 

The store’s design and decor are in sync with Tarun Tahiliani’s ‘India Modern’ design ethos and reflect the reality that Indian consumers have evolved over the years, and now seek more meaning and expressiveness via their choices. Designed to reflect TASVA’s brand philosophy, the store combines luxurious materials like wood, brass and aged Rajasthani architraves as a portal to a new world of Indian apparel.
