Abu Dhabi, UAE – December 3, 2022: A magnificent performance from Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi kicked off the UAE 51st National Day Concerts on 01 December, under the stars at Al Hosn.
Organised by the Department of Culture & Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), the much-anticipated show featured Al Jassmi performing emotional renditions of Hai Bil Shahama, Emirati Wa Rasi Fi Al Sama, Dak El Qalb, Balegh Habibak and more, as an audience packed full of families and groups of friends celebrated the joyful occasion together under the stars.
The celebrated artist had the audience captivated throughout and had everyone on their feet as he performed the UAE national anthem Ishi Biladi on the piano and sang with the audience. Al Jassmi closed a stunning set with crowd favourite “Bilbont Il Aarid” to great applause, wishing everyone a “Happy UAE National Day.”
For celebrants still looking for activities to mark the special occasion, singer Hamad Al Ameri will take over Al Hosn tomorrow (December 3) regaling the audience with his unique blend of upbeat Arab hits, while Al Jahili Fort in Al Ain will welcome a double-header concert featuring both Balqees and Fouad Abdelwahed.
