Jaipur, 22 November: A blood donation camp was organized at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) where more than 1600 units of blood were collected. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Registrar, Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar. During this, the Director of the Directorate of Student Welfare, Prof. Anil Dutt Vyas, Co-Director, Dr. Abhishek Srivastava and other officials were present. HDFC Bank, Jain Social Group and Rotract Club also extended their support in the programme.
Coordinator of the blood donation camp and Assistant Director of the Directorate of Student Welfare, Hemant Kumar and Dr. Shyam Sundar Sharma, said that there was a lot of enthusiasm among the youth regarding blood donation. It is an endeavor of the Rotract Club of the University that no one dies due to lack of blood. Teams from about 25 hospitals of the state participated in this blood donation camp. Director of the Directorate of Student Welfare, Prof. Anil Dutt Vyas said that there is no greater charity than blood donation. One youth can save many lives by donating blood. We should go ahead and do our part in blood donation.
