Golden Circle upgrades ensure access closest to the stage and artists, shorter queues at dedicated beverage points, and fast-track entry
Abu Dhabi, UAE, November XX, 2022: From worldwide superstars to regional artists, the musical talent on show at this week’s Yasalam After-Race Concerts promises fans in Abu Dhabi an eclectic line-up of music and talent, unlike anything in the history of an event that pioneered entertainment around Formula One race weekends.
Running from 17-20 November, in conjunction with the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the four-day festival of music will, for the first time, feature five headline acts, as well as a host of performances courtesy of Flash Entertainment’s Regional Artist Spotlight (RAS) programme.
Abu Dhabi’s favourite music festival opens with two renowned international acts, on Thursday night, in the form of Usher, the American R&B star and eight-time Grammy Award winner, and Dave, the acclaimed UK rap artist and two-time BRIT Award winner. Friday night will be headlined by world-renowned electronic music trio Swedish House Mafia; multi-platinum, 14-time Grammy Award-winning hip-hop icon Kendrick Lamar takes the stage on Saturday; and one of the world’s best-selling, Hall of Fame rock groups, Def Leppard, will close out proceedings on Sunday.
Underlining Flash Entertainment’s commitment to developing the Middle East’s entertainment industry, three of the headline acts will be supported by regional talent. Two of those who will be performing have been featured on Flash Entertainment’s Regional Artist Spotlight platform, an initiative started in 2020 to give musicians from across the GCC a platform to perform and gain broader exposure of their music through the programme’s partnerships with some of the region’s leading media platforms.
A hallmark of the Regional Artist Spotlight is Flash Entertainment’s ability to provide performance opportunities alongside the many AAA artists they bring to the region. At this weekend’s Yasalam After-Race Concerts two Regional Artist featured artists will perform - Sandra Sahi, will warm the Etihad Park crowd up for Swedish House Mafia on Friday, and KC Hamada will open ahead of Saturday’s headline act, Kendrick Lamar. UAE-based rock band, The Boxtones, will open for Hall of Fame rock legends Def Leppard on Sunday night.

SANDRA SAHI
The 23-year-old singer-songwriter will get the party started ahead of Swedish House Mafia on Friday 18 November. After falling in love with music at a young age, Sandra became a hit, covering songs by artists from Beyonce to Zara Larsson on YouTube, and has amassed almost 1 million followers on social media. The ‘flavoured,’ ‘variated’ and ‘authentic’ singer enjoys exploring new genres and styles, so the Yasalam crowd can expect a unique performance on Friday.
KC HAMADA
Born and raised in the UAE, KC is a hip-hop artist who loves exploring and is not shy of telling an authentic story, so fans can expect an honest set when KC opens for Kendrick Lamar on Saturday. The Iraqi-Iranian rapper will be looking to lift the crowd at Etihad Park after an exciting day of qualifying at the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Saturday evening will be something of a dream come true for KC who has previously stated he would love to share the same stage as Kendrick Lamar. Get ready for a big set as Hamada looks to bring down the house and display his talent.
