Nation Towers’, the Capital’s most iconic mall, is hosting a breast cancer awareness programme in collaboration with Medical Scientific Co. To be held at Level One of the mall on the 5th and 6th of November, the event will be giving away 75 ‘Aware’ pads, a revolutionary breast cancer self-examination product that can help detect breast cancer in its very early stages. The programme will also play a key role in increasing awareness about this common and deadly cancer.
An FDA-approved aid, ‘Aware’ can help women examine themselves every month at home with accuracy and privacy. While women are encouraged to self-examine themselves every month, hands cannot locate deeper lumps. The product is known to increase the sensitivity of the hand by 70 percent. The pop-up at Nation Towers will also showcase how to correctly use the product during a self-examination by analysing the look and ‘feel’ of breasts. It is a first-of-it-kind tool with virtually no competitors in the market.
75 complimentary Aware Pads will be available for women on the 5th and 6th of November, while AED 50 vouchers will be handed out once 75 “Aware” pads are given away. These vouchers can be used in any Bluemoon Pharmacy across Abu Dhab
