Kolkata, 22nd October, 2022: The Freshers' Welcome & Orientation Programme of Centre for Collaborative Programmes, Training and Research, MAKAUT, WB. (CCPTR, MAKAUT, WB.) was held on the 21st of October, 2022 at Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), Salt Lake. The officials of MAKAUT and the students of 11 collaborative Institutions running Under-Graduate Programmes under CCPTR were present.
The objective of the Centre is to bestow high quality teaching learning practices and specific professional skill sets to the students. At the same time it would expand the student base of the University, use the pooled resources of the collaborating organizations in a synergistic manner so as to help the University elevate its academic standards, foster quality professional education in West Bengal and enhance employment opportunities. All are to be done as per the quality mandate prescribed by different academic/statutory/Government bodies for the greater interest of the students.
The hallmark of this Centre is sustained and vigorous research activity in cutting edge areas of technology, science and management with a strong focus on societal and industrial needs.
