Kochi, October 15, 2022: Infopark Kochi and Kerala State Industrial Security Force (SISF) jointly organised a mass rally as part of 'Yodhav', the anti-narcotic campaign launched by the Kerala Police against rising drug use. Around 200 people, including student police cadets, Infopark employees, and SISF officials, participated in the rally flagged off by Thrikkakara Assistant Commissioner PV Baby. The anti-narcotic run, which started from Infopark Phase 1, covered about 3 km and culminated at the Thrikkakara municipal open-air stage.
Actor Aditi Ravi administered the anti-drug pledge to the participants. Around 50 student police cadets of Mar Athanasius High School, Kakkanad joined the Infopark SISF personnel in the awareness programme.
Thrikkakara Municipal Councillor Shana Abdu inaugurated the function which was presided over by SISF Commandant KN Aravindan. Public support is crucial for police to rein in the drug mafia, and various projects need to be planned and implemented jointly with the Government, Shana said. Infopark Administration Junior Officer Anil Madhavan and Kochi Metro Assistant Commandant R Manoj addressed the gathering.
Participants who joined the campaign received certificates at the concluding ceremony and Infopark Progressive Techies, President Anish Panthalani and Guruvayur Municipal Councillor Khader were also present.
