Babaji, the renowned authentic Turkish restaurant in the heart of City Walk, has expanded its popular pide offering to include a menu of 10 delectable versions of the delicious savoury flatbread and signature dish baked in its wood-fired brick oven.
The expert chefs at Babaji, who combined have more than three decades of pide experience, have created some delicious options of the traditional dish, including Kiymali with minced lamb, tomato pepper and parsley; Kavurmali with fried beef, eggs and mixed leaves; Tavuklu with chicken, onion, pepper, parsley and lemeon, Mevlana with beef, lamb, beef sucuk and kasar cheese; as well as Develi with diced beef, tomatoes, Turkish green pepper and parsley, and more.
Catering to all tastes, the Babaji team has also dreamed up some sumptuous vegetarian options including Temel Reis with spinach, kasar cheese, onion and red chilli; Patates with potatoes, Izmir Tulum, kasar cheese and red chili; and the best seller, Four Cheese with halloumi, Izmir Tulum, kasar cheese and mozzarella. And upon request, Babaji can also make these options vegan with the tastiest dairy free cheese, and vegan ingredients. Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in a famous Turkish dessert only available in Babaji, Kayseri Cevizlisi, which is a crispy bread filled with buttered crashed walnut, served with tahina and honey.
This signature offering is delightful by itself, but best recommended to share alongside meze or mixed grills to make for a truly authentic Turkish experience. Babaji’s pide are available for dine in or take away at Babaji .
