Edelweiss Personal Wealth registers 68% Y-O-Y growth in Fiscal 2022
FY22 reveals an 30% Y-O-Y growth in investors leveraging the EMT application in Kochi
Kochi, September, 2022 : Edelweiss Personal Wealth, a division of Edelweiss Wealth Management (EWM) that addresses the needs of HNI and salaried professionals, has announced the launch of its new branch at Teepeyem Towers, M G Road, Opposite Cochin Shipyard, Ravipuram, Ernakulam in Kochi. Located at the centre of Kochi this branch would be servicing a wide segment of customers to resolve their queries at the earliest, along with one-to-one interaction from the branch representative.
With the launch of this branch, the wealth management office will now have 1 branch and a franchisee network of 38 partners in Kerala. We currently have 68 branches and are looking at 100 branches in India.
The unexpected emergence of the global pandemic jolted the wealth management industry to adapt to new circumstances. EWM as a business was on top of the curve hence, had evolved into a hybrid business model long before the pandemic. This strategy provides bespoke services virtually and through dedicated relationship managers. EWM has increased the total number of dedicated Relationship Managers (RMs) for clients by 25% over the previous fiscal. This is one of the key factors that has led to a significant growth in the Investor base.

The EMT application has shown a significant increase in the user base across Kochi. The company’s internal analysis basis, in-house mobile trader’s Google analytics data for the period FY22 reveals an 30% % Y-O-Y growth in investors leveraging the EMT application in Kochi. The said number is 37% for Kerala and 37% for India.
In addition to the above factors, Edelweiss’ personal wealth’s diversified product suite has also contributed to the growth of 68% Y-o-Y in FY22.
